The Main Hall is our primary location for sporting activities, parties, performances and large scale events. From this room there is access to the kitchen, chair stores, tables, crockery, staging and the fantastic new audio-visual equipment that allows us to show presentations and movies at the highest possible quality.
The Main Hall room is 195m2 with a semi-sprung wooden floor and enough space to comfortably fit 180 people sat in a theatre style, or 150 at tables. There is a hatch servery which connects to the kitchen for catering purposes and our staging can be arranged for any kind of dramatic production, musical performance or presentation.
The sound-resistant partition wall between the Main Hall and St Peter & St Paul Meeting Room can be removed and folded away easily to create a single room for larger events such as wedding receptions, funerals, our monthly Flix in the Stix and Farmers Markets, as well as those community occasions which open up the entire hall.
Use of our new audio-visual equipment can be included in any hire of the main hall, but please let the office know a week in advance where possible so that this can be set up for you. Further equipment and facilities can be arranged through the office.
